Resolutions for Winding Up

Part of the process of liquidating a business is the passing of Resolutions for Winding Up. These are passed irrespective of the type of insolvency – whether the business is solvent and the members have decided to wind down activities (a Members Voluntary Liquidation or MVL) or in the scenario where a business cannot meet it’s liabilities and a liquidator is appointed to act on behalf of the Creditors (a Creditors Voluntary Liquidation or CVL).
